To be judged, you must check the "yes" box on the
Parade Entry Form. Entrants must complete the entire parade route to be eligible
for an award. All decisions of the Santa Clarita Parade Committee judges shall be final.

The theme of the 2008 Santa Clarita Fourth of July Parade is "Sights and Sounds of Santa Clarita."
Regardless of whether you are competing for the Best of Theme trophy, your entry should
strive to reflect the theme in some way. Even in the individual catetories, judges will be weighing
your entry's reflection of the theme when they make their decisions. (Hint: Judges will be looking and listening for you to
incorporate music, particularly patriotic music, in your entry in some way — whether "live" or "canned.")
Awards will be given as follows:
- First, Second and Third place trophies are awarded within each Classification (see Entry Form).
- Each entry selects only ONE Classification.
- In addition, the following trophies shall be awarded to the best OVERALL entries:
